Alan Shearer, one of England’s greatest footballers and a Newcastle icon, is celebrated as the Premier League’s all-time top scorer with 260 goals, achieved during his illustrious career.

During a decade at St James’ Park, he became the club’s all-time leading scorer, captained the side, and led them to two FA Cup finals, cementing his legendary status among the Magpies faithful.

On the international stage, Shearer was a talisman for England, in which he captained the team earning 63 caps and scoring 30 goals between 1992 and 2000. He finished as top scorer at Euro 1996, where his performances and leadership helped England reach the semi-finals.
